Daily TkhineHere is a beautiful prayer written by a Torah observant woman from the 17th century which was published in Prague.

How can I praise Him adequately
When even a portion of the praise
That falls from my lips
Could fill the entire world

He feeds everyone with His grace
And with His mercy.
He is righteous.
Blessed is the Name of His glorious kingdom
Forever and ever.

He is the eternal King.
He is the highest,
And His heart is compassionate
As are His ways.

He is the first Father,
And He is the last Father,
Who is merciful to His beloved children.

He is our Master; we are His servants
We are His vineyard; He is our Keeper
We are His creation: He is our Creator
We are His loved ones; He is our God
We are His people; He is our King
We are full of sin; He is full of mercy
We and our days are as a passing shadow;
He and His years are unending.

And Your Name is praised always and forever
And You are merciful and loved forever
We beg You to protect us from all who would envy us
And may You lock up the tongues
Of those who would do us harm
With Your heavenly locks
And deflect their blades so they will not harm us.

Here by ten sifrey toyre
And by ten mezuzes
With a thousand good angels
So You, Beloved G-d, my Helper
Will send the Angel Michael
To be at my right hand
And at my left side
The Angel Gabriel
With Raphael behind me
And at my head
The Shkhine of G-d, Blessed by He
And may the prophets
Pave my path with good fortune.

Amein.

By a pious woman, Rokhl, Daughter of Reb Mordkhe Soyfer, of blessed memory of the community of Fintshuv. Printed in Prague and from around the 1700 year.
