This is said when placing the Sabbath loaves into the oven
Lord of all the world,
The blessing of all things
Is in Your Hands.
So I come to honor Your Holiness
And ask You to bestow Your Blessing
On this dough.
Send an angel to protect it,
So that it may bake well,
And rise well,
And not burn,
In order to honor
The holy Sabbath,
That You have chosen
As a day of rest.
So, I make this holy blessing
As You blessed the dough of
Our mothers, Sarah and Rebecca.
G-d, my G-d,
Hear my voice.
You are G-d
Who hears the voices
Of those who call out to You
With all their hearts.
You are Beloved for ever.
