When we take the time to study their lives we find that their most urgent plea, at the core of their teachings and example, was unanimous:
It was for the cause of love.
Love of our Creator, love of our fellow man, love of wisdom and kindness and virtue, love of the sacredness of life, love of the beauty of creation.
We are discovering that the immense love these saintly souls held in their heart would create miracles of transformation in those whose lives they touched. Whole communities could live in peace and thrive under their beneficial influence. Miracles sprouted like buds in spring. Over and over their teachings remind us of our great destiny as God's children.
We have no idea how fortunate we are: Not only are we reminded again and again that we do belong to the most awesome Being in the Universe, our
Creator, not only is our inner being created in the very image of this
All-Powerful Creator, but we have the extraordinary privilege to be able to communicate with this awesome Power of Life, this infinite Source of love, wisdom, strength, joy and bliss, creativity and much more.
We can communicate with our Creator in the ways that are most familiar to us- for He loves us and wants to put us at ease. We can speak to our Creator as to a loving friend, a parent, a teacher, a guide, a loved one.
For the One who created friendship is longing to see us be willing to be His best friend.
The One who created loving mothers is our most loving, dedicated Mother as only a mother can love; and is yearning for us to address Her like a loving child does, trusting in Her, resting on Her bosom of tenderness and peace.
The One who created loving fathers is committed forever to our welfare, to our well-being, to our growth and success and is eagerly waiting to give us of His inheritance when we grow up.
The One who is infinitely patient with us is waiting for us to express this patience that conquers all obstacles.
The One who is All-Powerful and Creative is longing to see us be willing to become a channel to His all healing and creative power through our love and dedication.
The One who is filling the higher realms with glorious joy, delight,
rapture, exultation and bliss is yearning to crown us with the fire of this bliss and heal our heart with infinite joy.
The One who is the Master of the Universe is silently waiting for us to open our eyes to the majesty, splendor, and glory He wants to share with us.
And most of all, the One who created love is yearning for us to taste of His infinite love for us, to reflect it in our lives, to shower it on our dear
ones and all the people we touch.
