Wednesday Tkhine

This tkhine is to be said on the 4th day (Wednesday) with kavanah.

May it be granted, Lord our G-d,
And G-d of our forefathers,
Creator of us all,
And Creator of all the world,
You were One G-d, alone
When the world began
And will be one G-d throughout eternity.
Only You can rule this world,
And the world to come.

On this day,
The day that is blessed
And praised by Your creation,
You set the sun and moon and stars
Each in their own firmament,
So that Your people Yisrael
Could calculate the days and years,
And reckon the Festivals
And the start of the months,
And epochs of history
From heaven's design,
And to give light by day,
To divide night from day,
And the darkness from light,
And the greater light from the lesser light.

I, Your devoted maid and daughter,
Come before You with my body bowed
down to earth
To confirm Your holiness
And to ask You
For great mercy and grace.
May You be merciful over me,
And over my children,
And over all women and children
Of Your people Yisrael,
Those who fear the justice
Of Your Court.

Almighty G-d,
Let no harm come to me,
Or my children,
Or any of the children of Yisrael,
And protect us from
The evil in the air
That goes around today,
On this day in the world
That might do us harm. Cover us, protect and guard us, For You are protector to all those Who would be unprotected without You.

As the verse says:
"Those who are the servants of G-d,
G-d will protect."

May the speech of my mouth
Find favor before You,
G-d, my Creator and my Redeemer.
